The very first office of Quora in India would be set up under the guidance of GM Gurmit Singh, he would also be hiring teams for the same in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.

Quora, the ultimate platform for knowledge sharing has appointed Gurmit Singh as it’s GM, who has been the former Managing Director at Yahoo India. It has envisioned to pioneer its business growth in India with this hiring as its first step. Gurmit Singh is supposed to hire the experts in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai to help establish Quora’s first office in India.

Presently, the company has no development team in India, all it has a writer relations team. FMS Delhi alumnus, Singh, has left Yahoo India to get involved with a question-answer educational tech company. He will be subjected to report to the Chief Revenue Officer oat Quora, Arnie Gullov-Singh.

This appointment has come to the action whilst the edtech company was aspiring for revenue escalation in the country. It is anticipated that Quora will be soon available in more Indian Regional languages like Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Gujarati adding to Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and Bengali, which are already there.
